There was a time when BA was considered sufficient degree for a successful career but now a days due to increasing competition, one must at least go for Master degree .But for a gazetted government jobs still BA is minimum required degree.
You can appear all in competitive exams after BA.
But if you decide to appear in competitive exam after BA then do appear in any MA exam as private candidate .You can also apply for non gazetted government jobs after BA .But give special emphasis on English and general knowledge .For
